A 75-year-old man died Sunday after slipping on an icy Upper East Side sidewalk and hitting his head on the pavement, police said.
He was walking near 73rd St. and Second Ave. just before noon when he fell. Witnesses who saw the accident called 911, cops said Monday.
EMS took the unconscious and unresponsive man to Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he died.
